The NDIS

PrideVic is a registered NDIS service provider. The NDIS stands for the National Disability Insurance Scheme and is a new initiative that allows people with disabilities to access the support and services that they need.

The NDIS gives all Australians peace of mind if they, their child or loved one is born with or acquires a permanent and significant disability.

The prices for all of Pride Vic’s services and supports adhere to the latest NDIS TTP (Temporary Transformation Payment) Price Guide.

Outreach

Pride Vic Outreach provides a holistic approach to our therapeutic recreation services for individuals with disabilities, supporting them in their daily lives.

Individuals with disabilities are at significant risk of experiencing:

  • Isolation and segregation

  • Social disadvantage

  • Limited access to community programs

  • Exclusion from recreational activities

  • Involvement in the justice system

  • Sexually transmitted diseases

  • Lack of sexuality and/or gender awareness

Pride Vic social mentors provide a level of service that acts to reduce these kinds of risks and concerns through programs and outreach supports that start new pathways toward community integration.

  • Decrease social isolation

  • Address gender, sexuality and identity

  • Promote a positive outlook on life

  • Enable greater independence and self confidence

  • Promote self advocacy
