PrideVic is a registered NDIS service provider. The NDIS stands for the National Disability Insurance Scheme and is a new initiative that allows people with disabilities to access the support and services that they need.
The NDIS gives all Australians peace of mind if they, their child or loved one is born with or acquires a permanent and significant disability.
The prices for all of Pride Vic’s services and supports adhere to the latest NDIS TTP (Temporary Transformation Payment) Price Guide.
Pride Vic Outreach provides a holistic approach to our therapeutic recreation services for individuals with disabilities, supporting them in their daily lives.
Individuals with disabilities are at significant risk of experiencing:
Isolation and segregation
Limited access to community programs
Exclusion from recreational activities
Involvement in the justice system
Sexually transmitted diseases
Lack of sexuality and/or gender awareness
Pride Vic social mentors provide a level of service that acts to reduce these kinds of risks and concerns through programs and outreach supports that start new pathways toward community integration.

Open Choices Capacity Building and Advocacy is a social program where participants engage in a range of community based recreational and learning activities designed to promote independent decision making, rights and skill development focusing on these key areas:
Self worth and advocacy
Pride Vic provides a holistic approach to Support Coordination to individuals who have neurological, physical and intellectual disabilities as well as those with mental illness and the aged.
Support Coordination is a respectful, systematic process of gathering information toward the organisation of services on behalf of an individual.
Pride Vic provides continual supports to the individual, guiding them in making decisions, maximising their potential, raising their awareness of their local community and encouraging them to try new activities and build positive networks with the ultimate aim to:
Decrease social isolation
Address gender, sexuality and identity
Promote a positive outlook on life
Enable greater independence and self confidence
Promote self advocacy
Decrease involvement in the justice system
Promote sexuality and/or gender diversity
Develop wider community connections
Specialist Support Cooridnation
Pride Vic also offers Specialist Support Coordination for individuals in a situation with high and/or complex needs (also referred to as Level 3 Coordination Of Supports).
An experienced practitioner will help you manage the many challenges within your support environment which may include hardships in areas of health, education or navigation of the justice system.
Our specialist support coordination program helps reduce the barriers you might be facing when implementing your NDIS plan and pays special attention to the specific adversity faced by members of the LGBTQI+ community.
